About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Spanish-speaking Travel Sales Executive to join our growing international sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international travel sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. This is a target-driven role, with a focus on providing tailored travel solutions to Spanish-speaking clients across global markets, primarily during U.S. business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with Spanish-speaking clients inquiring about international travel services.
- Understand client needs and provide customized travel options including flights, accommodations, and vacation packages.
- Use GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) to search, book, and issue tickets accurately.
- Promote and upsell travel-related services, such as travel insurance, hotel upgrades, and guided tour packages.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and post-booking support.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs as set by the sales manager.
- Ensure all bookings, communications, and client interactions are accurately documented in the CRM system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in international travel sales or a similar role.
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory. Proficiency in English is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fare search and optimization on meta-sites for Spanish regions.
- Ability to generate bookings and drive sales through various Spanish and global meta platforms.
- Skilled in comparing fares with competitors and updating pricing as per airline contracts.
- Proficient in fare calculation, seasonality checks, and FBC analysis based on fare rules.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Comfortable working during night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
