Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Comprehensive Seasonal Direction: Create and present holistic, forward-looking Seasonal Concept Guides (2 per year) that establish the overarching creative vision, narrative, and visual identity for the HULALA brand.
2. Define Creative Pillars: Establish the core seasonal pillars—including mood, color, material, fabric, and pattern—that will guide all product development and marketing initiatives.
3. Leverage Data-Driven Insights: Synthesize information from consumer research, competitive analysis, industry trade shows, and premium trend forecasting services to inform and validate all trend-related decisions.
4. Create Actionable Visual Tools: Produce detailed trend decks, mood boards, and physical material libraries that serve as a clear and inspiring source of truth for cross-functional teams (Product Design, Merchandising, Marketing).
5. Provide Category-Specific Guidance: Translate macro trends into clear, executable, and commercially-viable direction for key product categories, including furniture, lighting, wall decor, textiles, decoratives, and seasonal offerings.
6. Champion the Brand Vision: Act as the internal ambassador for the seasonal trend vision, ensuring alignment and buy-in from leadership and key stakeholders throughout the creative process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Textile Design, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred. 7+ years of experience in a trend forecasting, creative direction, or product development role, specifically within the home furnishings, interior design, or luxury lifestyle sectors.
2. Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to move beyond trend spotting to trend interpretation, combining creative flair with strong analytical skills to drive business strategy.
3. Exceptional Visual Storytelling: A powerful portfolio showcasing expertise in creating compelling concept narratives, mood boards, and trend presentations that inspire and guide creative teams.
4. Deep Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the global home furnishing market, key players, manufacturing processes, and a robust network of material and trend resources.
5. Collaborative Consultant: Proven success in a consultant or project-based capacity, with excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and guide cross-functional teams effectively.
