Job Title: Trip Hero (Driver)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Purpose:
The Trip Hero is responsible for safely transporting company staff, products, and materials to various locations, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and the efficient routing of trips. This position requires a reliable driver with knowledge of local roads, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transport:
• Transport company staff, products, and materials to designated locations in a timely and safe manner, following all traffic laws.
• Loading/Offloading Assistance:

Assist with loading and unloading luggage, products, and materials as needed.

• Route Management:

Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion, road construction, or any potential delays. Promptly inform management of any tickets issued for the company vehicle during working hours. Ensure the company vehicle is always parked in designated areas to avoid fines or penalties. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle by regularly washing, cleaning, and performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Keep accurate records of vehicle movements, including trip logs, mileage, and cargo/passenger reports. Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management immediately. Assist with administrative tasks as required, including completing required documentation. Provide excellent customer service, interacting with clients in a professional manner at all times. Ensure the vehicle is always refueled and ready for use, maintaining fuel levels for scheduled trips.

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role (e.g., office boy or driver).

Skills and Competencies:

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of UAE Traffic Laws: Strong understanding of traffic regulations in the UAE.
• Vehicle Management: Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
• Punctuality and Professionalism: Ability to manage time efficiently, work under pressure, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Customer Service: Must be courteous, customer-focused, and able to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in the UAE, with a strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Punctual, calm under pressure, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of luxury and electric vehicles.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
