Job description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Designer to join our creative team at Kilowott. This role is ideal for someone passionate about UI/UX design and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic setting. You will assist in creating visual concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing graphics for digital and print media, including websites, social media, brochures, advertisements, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas.
- Support in creating and editing visual content using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the creative process.
- Maintain a consistent brand identity across all design projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into designs.
- Receive and incorporate feedback from senior designers and clients.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong sense of design at the art and craft level.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in digital tools like Figma.
- Familiarity with web design and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles is preferred.
