The Division

Dealer Information Systems Corporation (Client) is a leading business management software provider to agricultural, construction, truck refrigeration and lift truck dealers in North America. Founded in 1980, based of Bellingham WA (USA); we are a team of 100+ professionals who help customers with Software, Hardware and Network Management so they don't have to deal with many vendors but just one full-service company.

The Position

The division is seeking a Trainee UI/UX Designer to join its R&D team. The selected candidate will undergo training, followed by an apprenticeship, with the potential for a full-time permanent position at the Contour Software Lahore office. They will be part of the resource-center team, working as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in graphic design, UI/UX design, and brand storytelling. The trainee will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our digital products and platforms.

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Education

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline
• Familiar with the UI/UX design lifecycle.
• Familiar with design systems, UI kits, and reusable components in tools like Figma.
• Eager to learn new design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Participate in agile planning and stand-up meetings as necessary.
• Knowledge of wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.
• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively in solving design challenges.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how designs translate to code.
• Able to rapidly grasp new concepts, adapt to evolving project needs.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Energetic and a "can-do” attitude.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
  
  

The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Lahore resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
