Vat Account - For Chocolate Industry

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in VAT compliance to join our finance team in the chocolate industry. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate VAT reporting, and maintain compliance with local tax regulations.

Location: Al Ain.

Salary (AED): 3000-4000

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns in accordance with local laws and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure timely filing and payment of taxes.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors regarding VAT and other financial matters.
• Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and statements as required by management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide guidance and support on VAT-related matters to the finance team and other departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on VAT compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of VAT laws and regulations in the UAE (or relevant country).
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in the FMCG or food & beverage industry, particularly chocolate or confectionery.
• Certification in VAT or professional accounting qualification
• Male Candidate Preferred

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
