Vehicle Acquisition Specialist – Automotive Industry

$50,000–$75,000+ (Base + Commission + Benefits)

Full-Time | In Person Role

We are growing our Private-Party Acquisition team and looking for an experienced, motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to source and purchase vehicles directly from private sellers.

If you know cars, love talking to people, and enjoy closing deals, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Identify and contact private-party sellers across online marketplaces (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Cars.com, and AutoTrader) utilizing the VETTX platform.
• Perform accurate vehicle appraisals using industry tools and market data
• Build rapport with sellers, handle objections, and negotiate fair purchase prices
• Manage the acquisition process from first contact through final purchase
• Maintain organized notes, follow-ups, and communication with dealership leadership
• Meet weekly/monthly acquisition goals

Qualifications

Candidates with experience in any of the following are strongly preferred:

• Private Party Acquisition & Appraisal Experience REQUIRED
• Automotive sales or BDC experience Recommended
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000–$75,000+ expected earnings (base salary + commission)
