Roles & Responsibilities


Job Description:


Target Creation / Management/ Architecture Selection

Leads PES in the Target Creation studies, including drive events, target development, identify product gaps and closure actions for attributes (NVH-VeD-HMI-Performance etc.)

Leads Vehicle Engineering budget collection/optimization and supports upper management meetings.


Test Planning, Build and Launch Support

Supports the test planning team with respect to test vehicle count optimization, test plan development, manage vehicle sharing, cross attribute use and retests, identifying testing shortfalls.

Voice of the attributes during launch

Works with launch teams to implement Quality Control Plans for Vehicle Engineering teams.


Voice of the Customer

Drives the vehicle attributes and system owners for the right attribute balance based on Voice of the Customer.

Leads and champions the User Experience Customer Acceptance Team (CAT) process. Provides strong support to Basic Design in target definition.


Program Milestone Deliverables

Ensures program health at major milestone for Vehicle Attributes deliverables and attribute balance.

Development and evaluation of Water Management, Dust & Mud, Environmental Hot-Cold usage.

Leads program reviews, cross functional issue resolution, Vehicle Attributes team meetings.

Ensures that the voice of the attributes is heard at all programs meetings, including upper management gateway review.


Drive Evaluations

Organize and lead the management and team drive evaluations, drive-Briefing, results, drive books, follow best practices, issue tracking and resolution.

Provide subjective evaluation expertise across attributes (NVH-VeD-HMI-Performance etc.) for the program vehicle variants

Qualifications


Experience Required:

  • B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Industrial Engineering.
  • Must be experienced driver, min Class B driver's license and interest in driving & evaluating Ford Trucks vehicle attributes(NVH-VeD-HMI-Performance etc ).
  • Advanced command in English Project management skills, well organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of CATIA, SolidWorks, or relevant CAD software.
  • Experience and ability to lead group through complex issues.
  • Communication and presentation skills and ability to operate in a diverse environment.
  • Fluency in English
