Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at Titan as a Vendor Development Role - Captive Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our non-operational vendors as part of our Non-Operational Vendor Alliance (NOVA) program. You will be based in our Chennai office and report to the NOVA Joint Team (JT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with non-operational vendors as part of the NOVA program
• Identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities and suitability for partnership with Titan
• Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with vendors
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed upon terms and conditions
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address any issues or concerns with vendors
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through vendor partnerships
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in vendor management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management or procurement, preferably in a captive centre environment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Willingness to travel as needed

Additional Parameters:

• Experience in the retail industry is a plus
• Knowledge of local vendors and suppliers in Chennai is preferred
• Fluency in Tamil is an advantage
