Job Title: Vendor Onboarding Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated individual to assist in collecting and updating our vendor database through direct calls. The role involves reaching out to machinery or food industry vendors to gather accurate information, maintain records, and support the procurement and sourcing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact existing and potential vendors via phone to collect company and product information.
  • Gather details such as company profile, contact persons, product catalogs, pricing, certifications, and service offerings.
  • Verify vendor information and ensure data accuracy before updating the database.
  • Maintain and organize the vendor database systematically in Excel or ERP systems.
  • Follow up with vendors for missing information, quotations, and updates.
  • Support procurement and sourcing teams by providing updated vendor information.
  • Assist in preparing basic reports on vendor status, responses, and database completeness.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good communication and telephone etiquette.
  • Basic data entry and MS Excel skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to follow scripts and extract required information efficiently.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about vendors, machinery, and procurement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Freshers and interns are welcome.
