Purpose

• Capacity Building of the Key team members 
• Technical support to Model dairy farms
• Addressing all Quality issues.
• Liaisoning and coordination with various Govt departments
• AI project executions and monitoring

Key Responsibilities

·    Aiding in designing the delivery framework for animal nutrition services to achieve organizational goals.

·       Monitoring of animal nutrition programmes to ensure achievement of physical and financial targets

·       Capacity building of key manpower

·       Undertaking farmer education and other extension programs to enhance animal productivity.

·       Arranging awareness programs on farm management practices amongst farmers.

·       Liaisoning and coordination with various stakeholders for successful implementation of ration balancing & fodder development projects

·       Identify bottlenecks and design mechanisms for improving delivery of better animal nutrition services to Producers

·       Conduct need based field studies for Animal Nutrition projects

·       Planning & execution of fodder development programs according to agro- climatic conditions

·       Provide need based technical inputs to other functions

·      Successful implementation of Ethno veterinary practises in controlling cattle diseases to avoid erratic use of

Antibiotic

·      Organizing Health camps at BMC/MPP level

·      Follow-up of AI project, progeny evaluation and post delivery services.

·      Encountering competition

·      Co-ordinating with Govt department –Animal Husbandry, Agri

·      Drive quality related Parameters-Fat%, SNF%, MBRT

·      To do market survey and collect relevant information

·      To conduct Village Awareness Programme

·      To promote fodder development programme

Job Specifications

Education :

·      Bachelors / Masters in Veterinary Science (Animal Nutrition)

Experience :

·       Minimum 0-2 years of experience in milch / large animals segment
