Job Purpose

The Transformation Group's Customer Experience Strategy team is looking for a Behavioural Scientist who will be part of the team driving behavioural science projects at DBS. You will be involved in driving CX & business impact by applying behavioural science. To do so, you will uncover behavioural biases and barriers that are affecting customer decisions and behaviours, design behaviourally informed interventions for experimentation, and upskill the bank on behavioural science. The right candidate is someone who is passionate about improving customer experiences and business outcomes by scaling behavioural science and rigorous experimentation at the bank.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis of relevant behavioural barriers, biases and heuristics for given CX / business problems
  • Designing of behaviourally informed interventions
  • Designing the set up of (quasi) experiments (hypothesis statement, identification of success metrics, set up of control/treatment or pre/post groups, etc)
  • Analysis of intervention effectiveness (e.g. running of regressions, t tests, chi squared tests, etc)
  • Developing and conducting behavioural science trainings
Requirements
  • Degree in a field related to Economics / Social or Cognitive Psychology / Behavioural Science / Statistics / Data Analytics / Consumer Behaviour is preferred but not required (an advanced degree in any of these fields is preferred but not required)
  • Have an interest in and deep understanding of behavioural / psychological science or behavioural economics
  • Experienced and comfortable with running statistical analysis on R, or Python
  • Have an interest in Customer Experience and customer research
  • A self starter and collaborator that flourishes in a fast paced, ever changing and deadline driven environment
