The Vice President – Sales will be responsible for driving strategic sales growth and market expansion across India. This senior leadership role will lead regional sales heads and channel partners to achieve revenue targets, improve profitability, and strengthen the company’s brand presence in the flooring segment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy for PAN India to achieve growth and market share objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and customer segments to expand the company’s footprint.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align sales plans with organizational goals and business strategy.

Sales Management

  • Lead and manage a large sales team across multiple regions, including regional heads, key account managers, and channel partners.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, budgets, and performance KPIs across regions.
  • Drive channel development, dealer/distributor network expansion, and key account management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, ensuring efficiency, pricing discipline, and high customer satisfaction.

Business Development

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with architects, builders, contractors, developers, and institutional clients.
  • Oversee bidding, tendering, and project sales processes in collaboration with technical and project teams.
  • Support product launches and drive penetration of new product lines in existing and new markets.

Team Development

  • Mentor and motivate the sales team to deliver high performance and foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration.
  • Build capability within the team through regular training, coaching, and succession planning.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to guide product and pricing strategies.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, market analyses, and performance reports to the management team.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Graduate in Engineering / Business Administration; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: 15–20 years of progressive sales leadership experience in building materials, flooring, tiles, sanitaryware, or allied construction products industries.
  • Proven track record of handling PAN India sales operations and achieving high revenue growth.
  • Strong network within the construction, architecture, and infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
