PURPOSE: The Video and Digital Media Specialist assists in bringing Roswell Presbyterian Church’s worship, mission outreach and ministries to life through high-quality livestream, video storytelling, and creative content. This role ensures a polished experience for both in-person and online audiences, supports video production for church-wide efforts, manages technical media needs, and shares Roswell Presbyterian Church’s message across our digital platforms.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (1) Provide video content that implements the communications strategy for RPC ministries with emphasis on stewardship updates and telling our mission outreach story. (a) Worship and Livestream Production: Carry out the digital production of Sunday worship services and special events. (b) Video Content Creation and Storytelling: Create, produce and edit video engaging content that highlights RPC’s mission outreach, ministries, and stewardship updates by contributing to scripting, storyboarding, filming, and gathering visual assets. (c) Digital Platform Oversight: Facilitate video content distribution by posting to YouTube and other platforms. Support the visual and technical setup for non-Sunday livestreams and special events, including concerts and recordings. (2) Serve as a team member of Communications and RPC Staff (a) Project and Workflow Management: Follow the communications project request system while also contributing to RPC’s communications workflow and actively engage in team planning, collaboration, and creative brainstorming. (b) Technical Support and Equipment Management: Assist with video and technical support for virtual events, including webinars, retreats, workshops, and livestreams, while providing consultation on lighting, microphones, sound equipment, and teleprompter use. Contribute to maintaining the RPC podcast studio through equipment setup, content planning, and scheduling.

(c) Participate as a staff member of RPC: Participate as an RPC staff member by engaging in team discussions on digital media trends and church digital strategies, attending meetings and events, supporting production logistics and troubleshooting, and collaborating with staff to assist wherever needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Knowledge: Practical experience with sound, lighting, video recording, and livestream equipment, including cameras, microphones, and teleprompters, as well as familiarity with digital media platforms like YouTube, podcast services, social media, and livestream software. • Skills: Proficient in video editing and motion graphics for event promotions; skilled in content planning, including scripting, shoot coordination, and interviews; experienced in managing digital assets like video archives, B-roll, photo libraries, and posting on-demand content. • Abilities: Collaborate creatively with pastoral, worship, and ministry teams to enhance worship media; troubleshoot and manage live production and AV setups for smooth livestream and virtual events; adapt quickly to changing workflows and project needs.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
