Video editor cum content creator (Full-Time, In-Office/Hybrid)

Job Description:
We are a small but dynamic company based in Vadodara, and we are looking for a creative and skilled professional to join our team as an Video editor cum content creator (Full-Time, In-Office/Hybrid) . In this role, you will be responsible for transforming written scripts into engaging, AI-powered videos that tell compelling stories and drive audience engagement.
This is a full-time position with a choice of either in-office work or a hybrid model. If you choose to work hybrid, we expect you to complete 8 hours a day (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM), Monday to Friday, with a mix of office and remote work (minimum 3 days a week in the office).

Responsibilities:

• Adapt and rewrite scripts into engaging storytelling formats that work well for video.
• Create AI-generated videos using platforms such as Runway, Pika Labs, Synthesia, HeyGen, etc., with voiceovers, visuals, and background music.
• Integrate sound effects, transitions, and visual elements to enhance the storytelling experience and ensure the final product is polished and professional.
• Edit videos to ensure they meet the standards for social media platforms, websites, and marketing channels.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and generate new content ideas that align with our brand and marketing strategy.
• Manage multiple video projects at once, meeting deadlines and ensuring the quality of each video is maintained.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI tools and video content to bring fresh ideas and techniques to our projects.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 1-3 years of experience in Video editor cum content creator (Full-Time, In-Office/Hybrid) with an emphasis on storytelling.
• Strong proficiency with AI video tools like Runway, Pika Labs, Synthesia, HeyGen, or similar.
• Solid scriptwriting and storytelling abilities for creating engaging video narratives.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Descript).
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and emotional tone in videos.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work with attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Tools & Software You May Use:

• AI Video Creation Tools: Runway, Pika Labs, Synthesia, HeyGen, etc.
• Video Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Descript, etc.
• Audio Tools: Descript, Audacity (for voiceovers or editing).
• Project Management & Collaboration: Slack, Trello, Google Drive, etc.
