Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Visual Effects Specialist located in the Capital Governorate, Bahrain. The Visual Effects Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling visual effects for films, shows, and multi-media productions. In addition to VFX-focused tasks, this role will also participate in on-set production activities, supporting cinematography teams and assisting with post-production workflows to ensure seamless integration of visual effects.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing high-quality visual effects.

• Collaborating with directors and production teams to achieve the creative vision.

• Assisting on set with lighting setups, camera work, and shot planning to ensure VFX compatibility.

• Supporting cinematographers during field production when needed.

• Managing post-production tasks, including compositing, motion graphics, and integrating VFX with live footage.

• Ensuring continuity in visual aesthetics across scenes and episodes.

• Troubleshooting technical challenges during both production and post-production.

• Staying up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in software tools such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D and VFX tools.

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, motion graphics, and compositing techniques.

• Advanced skills in CGI, modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.

• Basic to intermediate experience with cameras, cinematography principles, on-set workflows, and production equipment (preferred).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams, directors, cinematographers, and producers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and meet project deadlines.

• Knowledge of film production pipelines and seamless integration of visual effects in post-production.

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, Film Production, or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in the Film and Entertainment industry is a plus.

• A keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing boundaries in visual creativity.

• Flexibility to support both field production and post-production as part of a dynamic studio environment.
