Wanted Mathematics teacher for primary school

The Primary Mathematics Teacher will teach foundational math concepts to students from Grades 1–5. The teacher must ensure conceptual clarity, use activity-based teaching, and create a joyful learning environment that builds children’s confidence in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to primary classes (Grade 1–5) using child-friendly, activity-based methods.
• Prepare daily lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and hands-on activities.
• Use real-life examples, games, manipulatives, and visual aids to simplify concepts.
• Conduct regular assessments and maintain updated student progress records.
• Provide additional support to children who need extra reinforcement.
• Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and number sense.
• Maintain classroom discipline through positive and engaging techniques.
• Communicate with parents regarding student learning and behaviour when required.
• Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, and teacher training programmes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably B.Sc. / B.Ed. in Mathematics or Education).
• Training in primary pedagogy is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a child-friendly teaching style.
• Prior experience in teaching primary classes (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Ability to integrate games, art, and activities into math teaching.
• Familiar with digital teaching tools (smartboards, tablets, educational apps).
• Patience, creativity, and strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to identify and support slow learners with differentiated strategies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,353.30 - ₹20,000.00 per month
