Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control through accurate tracking using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and preparing goods for storage or dispatch.
• Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Handle materials with care during manufacturing or construction-related tasks, ensuring proper handling and safety compliance under OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and participate in warehouse distribution activities to optimize storage space and inventory accuracy.
• Support warehouse supervision by adhering to safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and documenting all operational activities accurately.

Skills

• Proven experience with inventory management systems (including AS400) and RF scanners for accurate stock tracking.
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and mechanical tools necessary for materials handling.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, load & unload procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Previous warehouse experience in distribution centers or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
