Overview:

We are seeking a full time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Jeppi Nut & Candy Co. The candidate will receive, tag all boxes, and then store inbound pallets, and will also lead our e-commerce fulfillment (pick, pack, and ship).

Responsibilities:

-Receive inbound LTL shipments of 1-26 pallet quantities, unloading via forklift.
-Tag all inbound boxes with lot code tags.
-Store all inbound goods in the correct warehouse location.
-Review all inbound bills of lading for correctness
-Utilize Shipstation to identify all orders requiring picking, packing, and shipping
-Pick and pack orders from the warehouse in an efficient manner.
-Assist with warehouse cleanliness/tidiness

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Able to work scheduled shifts. Show up on time and ready to work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without restriction. Our nut/candy/fruit cases weigh 10-50 lbs, and you will need to lift heavy items throughout the day.
• Able to stand and walk continuously during your shift.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach above, and push/pull frequently.
• May be required to help out in other departments as needed.
• You have the ability to adapt to change quickly.
• You are detail oriented
• Ability to quickly understand new processes and identify operational opportunities.
• Previous fulfillment experience is not required, but is preferred.
• Ability to learn and work within our inventory management system and in the Shipstation e-comm platform.
• While you wouldn't be a regular driver, bonus points if you have experience driving a delivery van and have an active drivers license.
• English or bilingual Spanish/English speaking and reading

About Us:

Jeppi Nut & Candy Co. is a Baltimore based food manufacturer that processes and/or distributes raw & roasted nuts, dried fruit, candy, and concessions supplies. Located at a 15,000 square foot warehouse in Timonium, we are a small company with 15 people that manufactures, sells via retail and e-commerce, and fulfills from our location. Our warehouse is located at a light rail station.
