NOW HIRING: Warehouse Coordinator at Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Counties
Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Counties is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to support the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This role is critical in organizing inventory, coordinating shipments, supporting donation logistics, and ensuring safe, accurate, and well-maintained warehouse processes.

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving and organizing inventory, overseeing donation drives and home pickups, maintaining records, coordinating shipments, and supporting logistics for multiple programs—including Dell Reconnect, retail supply support, and fleet maintenance. This position also includes truck-driving responsibilities and may require some evening or weekend work.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and donations
Oversee all donation drives and home pickup operations
Coordinate the Dell Reconnect Program, including sorting and scheduling
Assist the VP of Operations and Director of DGR with retail supplies and new goods
Maintain records and take appropriate action regarding maintenance of retail trucks and tow motors
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock audits
Prepare outgoing shipments (packing, labeling, scheduling carriers)
Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized
Track and report inventory levels and movement
Support other departments with inventory needs and transfers
Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts if certified)
Follow proper procedures for storing, handling, and disposing of materials
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Perform truck-driving duties as assigned
Other duties as assigned by leadership
Previous warehouse or inventory coordination experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, 100 lbs. frequently, and over 100 lbs. occasionally
Basic computer skills (inventory tracking, data entry)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, projects, and communication streams
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3–5 years in truck driving and warehouse operations
Certifications: Forklift, First Aid, CPR (or ability to obtain)
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
Screenings: Background check, drug & alcohol screen required prior to employment!
