Job Position: Warehouse Manager
Wage: $70,000 - $85,000 a year
Location: Lincolnwood, IL
Job Summary
As our Warehouse Manager, you will ensure procurement of trucking, beverages, disposables, equipment, smallware’s and paper goods associated with departmental operations. You will be responsible for weekly and monthly paperwork and documentation, including payroll reporting and inventories.
You will develop practices for maintaining and improving your team and operations to provide positive experiences for clients, employees, and partners. You will also be responsible for the selection, training, and development of team members and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the selection, education, and development of team members.
- Overseeing the training of warehouse and non-warehouse employees on the proper operation of our vehicular fleet in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Overseeing efficient procurement procedures and policies ensuring efficiencies in purchasing, loss and pilferage with respect to equipment, disposables, beverage and alcohol. Minimize last-minute purchases and inventory shortages.
- Organizing and maintaining the warehouse, inventory of beverage and equipment.
- Developing practices to maintain and improve physical the plant to provide difference making experiences for guests, employees and partners.
- Ensuring all props, beverages and equipment are checked to prevent loss of company assets.
- In partnership with the Purchasing manager, analyzing market pricing on beverages in our inventory to reduce beverage cost.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations according to local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implementing and enforcing proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Warehouse Management experience.
- Strong sense of confidence, empathy, self-accountability, intrinsic motivation and self-starter
- Experience with hiring, disciplinary and termination processes.
- Effective organizational skills to work, prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully pass Pre-Employment screening and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) background checks.
