WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Job Summary:

Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all the functions of the warehouse and ensuring smooth operations of all activities. An individual of this profile also requires handling and managing warehouse workers and adhering to necessary safety and legal procedures of working.

The position of the Warehouse Manager is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall not be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 in any one work week.

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervising the functions and responsibilities of all employees (selecting, loading, auditing, shipping, receiving, replenishment).
• Delegating and assigning tasks and deadlines.
• Evaluating the performance of warehouse staff.
• Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures per OSHA requirements and Company policy.
• Managing the inventory monitoring cycle counts and conducting audits of same to validate results.
• Validates all out stock items.
• Supervising proper shift allocations and ensuring efficiency of all warehouse staff.
• Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
• Responsible for compliance with OSHA’s warehouse machine operation.
• Conduct evaluations and training on the use of warehouse machines for new and existing warehouse staff.
• Able to operate a forklift, reach truck and an electric pallet jack.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
• Effectively communicates all shift issues to the appropriate parties.
• Execute coaching, counseling, disciplinary acts and corrective action for warehouse staff, where applicable.
• Track shift attendance and tardiness.
• Report accident and injuries, per company policy, to HR and Safety Manager.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Computer Literate

Ability to effectively manage time and resolve issues in a timely fashion.

Ability to efficiently coordinate and communicate with internal and external workers of the company.

Working Conditions:

• The position requires the ability to work in different temperature zones.
• This position requires the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
