Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations in a facility of approximately 2 lakh sq.ft, ensuring efficient storage, movement, and distribution of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management: - Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials. - Ensure timely and accurate execution of inbound and outbound logistics. - Implement best practices for material handling and warehouse workflow optimization. - Monitor and improve warehouse layout, storage, and inventory systems to maximize space utilization.

2. Inventory & Stock Control: - Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management System) or ERP systems. - Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. - Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. - Optimize stock levels to balance availability and cost.

3. Staff Management & Development: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse supervisors, clerks, and operators. - Allocate resources efficiently and ensure adequate staffing for peak periods. - Conduct training on safety, SOPs, and operational efficiency. - Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

4. Safety, Compliance & Quality: - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety, and company policies. - Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. - Ensure proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials (if applicable). - Implement quality checks for material handling, packaging, and dispatch.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting: - Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, warehouse utilization, turnaround time, and labor productivity. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and operational issues. - Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
