Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for building, designing, and maintaining SDH Naturals’ websites. This includes creating complete websites on Shopify as well as developing non-Shopify sites when required. The role requires the ability to work with Shopify themes, custom coding, and standard web development tools to create clean, responsive, and visually aligned pages. The developer will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to bring brand concepts to life across all web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Website Creation & Development

• Build full websites on Shopify and also develop standard/non-Shopify websites when needed.
• Create and customise pages, layouts, and templates using themes and custom code.
• Ensure mobile-friendly, fast-loading, clean, and consistent UI across all pages.

Theme Customisation & Coding

• Work with Liquid (for Shopify), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Build custom sections, blocks, and components as required.
• Fix layout issues, broken elements, and general design bugs.

Design & UI Implementation

• Add updated banners, images, graphics, and content provided by the design team.
• Maintain clean and consistent page layouts across home, collection, product, and landing pages.
• Improve user flow, readability, and overall visual experience.

Website Maintenance & Regular Updates

• Upload new products, adjust descriptions, update prices, and maintain collections.
• Implement campaign updates, festive themes, and new launch pages.
• Monitor site performance and resolve any mobile, speed, or UI issues.

Integrations & Apps

• Install and manage Shopify apps or external tools depending on the platform used.
• Handle integrations, tracking pixels, forms, CRM tools, scripts, and analytics.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across both Shopify and non-Shopify sites.

Performance & Tracking

• Monitor website speed, broken links, navigation issues, and mobile performance.
• Suggest improvements for user experience and conversion flow.
• Coordinate with design, marketing, and operations for smooth updates.

Experience & Qualification

• Education: Graduate in any stream (Design, Computer Science, or related fields preferred).
• Experience: 1–4 years in website development with strong experience in Shopify and normal websites.
• Solid understanding of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and theme structures.
• Ability to convert Figma/Canva designs into functional and polished web pages.
• Understanding of basic SEO, page structure, and website usability.
• Experience coordinating with design, marketing, and operational teams.
