Asianet Pakistan is looking for a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the customization of WordPress themes and plugins. Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing and building the website front-end/back-end including database and server integration. Experience working with WordPress, including theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.
• Conducting website performance tests. Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Lead and manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Write technical documentation Stay up-to-date with current coding practices and industry trends, keeping informed of new technology that can be used in future projects.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Create security and data protection settings.
• Knowledge of managing hosting accounts through C-panel/WHM is a plus

Job Requirements:

• Minimum bachelors required (in the relevant field).
• Should have at least 3 years of experience.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.
