Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites while leveraging MuleSoft to create robust APIs and integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and NetSuite. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver user-friendly, responsive websites and integrated solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about WordPress, proficient in MuleSoft, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Use MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to design, develop, and deploy APIs and integrations with Salesforce, Google APIs, Facebook, LinkedIn, and NetSuite.
• Implement and manage MuleSoft connectors, flows, and data mappings to ensure seamless data exchange between WordPress and external platforms.
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional WordPress templates.
• Optimize WordPress sites for performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Configure and customize WordPress plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, ACF) to meet project needs.
• Ensure website and integration security, perform updates, and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress, MuleSoft, or connected platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, well-documented code following WordPress and MuleSoft best practices.
• Stay current with WordPress updates, MuleSoft advancements, and emerging web and integration technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, Mule flows, and integration development.
• Proven ability to build and manage integrations with Salesforce, Google APIs, Facebook, LinkedIn, and NetSuite using MuleSoft.
• Experience building and customizing WordPress themes from scratch or using frameworks like Genesis or Underscores.
• Familiarity with WordPress-specific tools like Gutenberg, WP-CLI, or REST API.
• Knowledge of MySQL and database management for WordPress and integration purposes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of web performance optimization, SEO, WordPress security, and API security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft Developer Certification (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1).
• Experience with WooCommerce, Elementor, or other WordPress page builders.
• Familiarity with multisite WordPress setups or headless WordPress implementations.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js for decoupled WordPress projects.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., WP Engine, Kinsta, or AWS).
• Contributions to the WordPress or MuleSoft communities, such as plugins, connectors, or open-source projects.
• A portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and MuleSoft integrations.
