Welder

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and joining of metal components (MS/SS/GI) using approved welding techniques such as SMAW (ARC), MIG, TIG, and Gas Welding.
• Read and understand fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble pipe supports, brackets, frames, ducts, and other metal structures as required.
• Carry out welding for piping systems (chilled water, fire fighting, plumbing, etc.) based on project requirements.
• Conduct fit-up, alignment, and preparation of welding joints prior to welding.
• Perform grinding, cutting, beveling, and finishing of welded joints as needed.
• Assist in hydrotesting/pressure testing activities by preparing and supporting welded sections.
• Ensure safe usage of welding machines, gas cylinders, and tools in accordance with safety protocols.
• Report daily progress, material needs, and any defects or issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant trade certification.
• 2–3 years of welding experience in construction, fabrication, or industrial projects.
• Hands-on experience with ARC/MIG/TIG welding and cutting equipment.
• Ability to interpret welding drawings and follow instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of safety requirements related to welding, hot works, and confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
