Welder Class A (AMP - Direct)

Position: Welder Class A
Shift: Tuesday - Friday 6am-4pm
Pay: $24-$26/hr

EnSight Solutions is currently seeking Class A welders with experience in Stainless Steel. We are looking for dedicated, hard-working people seeking career opportunities. This position is ideal for someone with at least 1-year TIG Stainless welding experience.

This position requires someone that has a willingness to learn the art of welding and has the motivation to grow within the department. To move to the next level, progression will be at the manager's discretion, in addition to passing the skills test for the next level. Employees must remain in the current class for a minimum of 90 days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• High Quality MIG and TIG weld.
• Produce quality welds with minimal defects.
• Proficient in blueprint reading.
• Brace and straighten projects properly before welding.
• 60% of the time is spent fabricating and assembling projects.
• Grind and clean up parts for job.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Tech School; or relevant experience
• 1-year MIG & TIG welding experience

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• Must be able to read blueprints and part list.
• Must be able to read a tape measure; preferred.
• Must be able to use shop tools and do it in a safe manner.
• MIG and TIG welding experience is a must.
• Basic understanding of equipment that you’re building, the functionality of it, and how it operates.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics of specific machines when required.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of and ability to follow basic safety practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical actions such as squatting, reaching, standing for long periods of time, and lifting and carrying products.
• Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers, and other outside parties.
