Job Summary:
Safely perform a full range of journey level, complex skilled welding and complete minor maintenance and repair of mobile and stationary equipment. Respond to field emergencies and perform on-site repairs. This hourly, non-exempt position will work under indirect supervision from the Shop Superintendent or Shop Leader. This is a part-time position,working less than 1,000 hours.
Essential Functions:- Safely perform all essential functions.
- Use welding and flame-cutting equipment to perform skilled technical welding and fabricating duties on stationary and mobile equipment.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment if necessary to complete welding projects.
- Proactively communicate with Leaders and Equipment Operators concerning equipment and job-related projects.
- Respond to field emergencies and perform on-site repairs.
- Occasionally operate various vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Consistently work on personal growth plan.
- Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Knowledge of:- Methods, materials and equipment used in welding.
- Construction operations.
Ability to:- Take and follow instructions.
- Learn and follow GOH Company policies and procedures.
- Work with others in a team environment.
- Work with indirect supervision.
Qualifications:- Valid driver's license for state in which you reside with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.
- Must possess basic set of hand tools to do mechanical work.
- Prefer welding certificates.
Education:- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Prefer completion of formalized training in welding, fabrication or related field.
Experience:- Minimum of three years of welding experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to bend, kneel, or squat to reach repair areas.
