Natural Food Patch is Ferndale’s go-to health food store, committed to offering high-quality natural and organic products at affordable prices. Natural Food Patch has been a staple in the community since 1999! We are passionate about wellness and community—and we’re looking for a knowledgeable, customer-focused Wellness Associate / Buyer to help curate and manage our vitamin, supplement and wellness categories.

Responsibilities:

• Select and purchase vitamins, supplements, and wellness products based on customer demand and current trends.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing to maintain strong margins and competitive pricing.
• Monitor stock levels, place reorders, and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure optimal product availability.
• Assist and educate customers and staff on product benefits and uses with a focus on service and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest in wellness, supplements, and natural health trends.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and promotional displays in the wellness department.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in natural health retail or supplement buying preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and wellness products.
• Previous experience with purchasing, vendor relations, or inventory systems a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for holistic health and community wellness.
