Wiring Harness designer

The incumbent is mainly responsible for Design and Development of Vehicle Wiring Harness. The role holder is required to have good understanding of EMI,EMC, Transients and impact of same w.r.t wiring harness

1. Design of Vehicle Wiring Harness
2. Development of Wiring Harness
3. Problem solving and Implementation of Corrective measures
4. Preparing Design Records and Testing Data

BE/ BTech/ ME/ M.Tech in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering

1. Expertise in using Catia V5 and Vehicle Packaging
2. System level understanding of ICE vehicles
3. Understanding of Wire Type & Wire Size selection
4. Fuse rating & wiring harness child part selection
5. Understanding of Vehicle assembly parameter’s
6. Understanding of EMI,EMC, Transients and impact of same w.r.t wiring harness
7.Basic Knowledge of Plastics and sheet metal part manufacturing
8.Trouble shooting and analysis of system level defects
9.Analyse data and generate reports and make design changes for problems observed
10.Testing and validation support at System level and vehicle level testing
11.Completion of Development by meeting Quality, Cost and time targets
