We’re expanding our team and seeking a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to build and manage WordPress websites, leveraging tools like Elementor to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

The Role

As a WordPress Developer, you’ll focus on building and maintaining WordPress websites using theme builders, primarily Elementor, with some use of Divi and similar tools. You’ll work closely with our Client Success Manager and Team Lead to create responsive, user-friendly sites that meet client needs. This full-time, remote role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual eager to grow in a dynamic digital agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor to create visually appealing, responsive, and functional designs based on client requirements.
• Utilize theme builders like Elementor, Divi, and others to implement layouts, widgets, and design elements efficiently.
• Configure and manage WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality, integrating with Elementor for seamless store designs.
• Use WP Engine and cPanel to deploy, manage, and maintain WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with the Client Success Manager to understand client goals and deliver websites that align with their vision.
• Work with the Team Lead to ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
• Apply basic SEO best practices (e.g., site speed, mobile responsiveness) using plugins like Yoast SEO to enhance site performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to WordPress sites, theme builders, and plugins.
• Test websites for responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and user experience.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience with WordPress, including hands-on use of theme builders and plugins.
• Theme Builder Skills: Strong proficiency with Elementor for building and customizing WordPress sites; experience with Divi or other theme builders is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with WooCommerce, WP Engine, and cPanel for site setup, management, and deployment.
• Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus for minor tweaks and troubleshooting.
• English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English (professional fluency) for effective collaboration with the team and Client Success Manager.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the Client Success Manager and Team Lead in a team-oriented, remote environment.
• Problem-Solving: Eagerness to learn and address basic technical issues in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability: Full-time commitment, with flexibility to align with team and client needs (e.g., some overlap with US/UK time zones may require evening availability in Pakistan).
• Location: Must be based in Pakistan.
• Nice-to-Have: Experience with SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast, Rank Math), basic performance optimization, or working with client feedback.
