Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense matters with professionalism and determination.
• Conduct legal research, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials when necessary.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Develop effective litigation strategies in collaboration with partners and clients.
• Provide clear legal analysis and strategic guidance to clients.
• Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Stay updated on Florida workers’ compensation law and related legal developments.
• Foster strong client relationships through responsive communication and ethical practice.

Qualifications & Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum 5+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research abilities (LexisNexis experience preferred).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Client-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, work ethic, and commitment to deadlines.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
