Job Overview

The marketing team at Earthley is seeking a Writing Associate who can combine research, creativity, and strategy to produce compelling and brand-aligned content. This individual will write and edit various content types, including educational guides, blog posts, SOPs, and product-focused materials.

The ideal candidate understands web writing principles and SEO best practices and is passionate about holistic health. We seek a collaborative team player, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a mission-driven environment.

We will only consider applicants based in Ohio.

Objectives of This Role

• Produce high-quality writing that resonates with target audiences, enhances engagement, and builds brand trust
• Promote Earthley’s mission and values through clear and persuasive content
• Support marketing objectives with SEO-optimized and educational materials
• Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and branding across all platforms
• Contribute to increased website traffic and customer loyalty through effective storytelling and educational outreach

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit a wide range of content, including, but not limited to:

• Educational blog posts and guides
• Herbal profiles and health-focused articles
• Email marketing copy and product highlights
• Internal documentation, SOPs, and training materials

• Conduct thorough research on herbal and health-related topics
• Optimize written content for search engines (SEO) and clarity
• Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain content calendars and ensure alignment with campaign goals
• Create and edit basic visual content using Canva for blogs, guides, and promotional assets
• Assist in writing ad scripts, course materials, and occasional radio content
• Proofread and revise content for grammar, tone, brand consistency, and factual accuracy

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written communication and command of grammar
• Strong research and fact-checking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Docs
• Understanding of SEO principles and digital content creation
• High level of attention to detail and organization
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
• Interest in and knowledge of natural wellness and herbalism

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a content writer, copywriter, or in a similar editorial role
• Portfolio of published work, especially in the wellness or health space
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
• Familiarity with Earthley’s product line and mission is highly desirable
