Unity Films is seeking a skilled and research-oriented YouTube Script Writer for our True Crime and Dark Stories content. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging, factual, and well-structured scripts that adhere to our specific format and quality standards.
This is a project-based role that requires excellent storytelling skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Research real-life crime and dark case topics thoroughly
- Write compelling, well-structured YouTube scripts with a strong hook and clear flow
- Follow provided guidelines and adhere to the required format
- Ensure all content is factual, original, and plagiarism-free
- Submit scripts via Google Docs with editor access
- Meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality
Requirements:
- Excellent written English and storytelling ability
- Strong research skills and attention to factual accuracy
- Familiarity with True Crime, Dark Cases, or similar content genres
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and feedback
- No AI-generated text — originality is mandatory
- Previous experience in scriptwriting for YouTube is preferred but not required
Pre-Test Task:
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-test task involving a 600-word script draft on a provided topic. The task will be evaluated for research quality, adherence to structure, and writing style.
