As the Zonal Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing your zone's strategic direction, growth, and profitability of Zameen's classifieds platform. You will lead your respective zone's dedicated business development/relationship team and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive channel innovation, expansion and engagement, optimize client experience, and maximize revenue opportunities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the long-term vision, goals, and business strategy for the classifieds portal • Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge
- Set performance objectives, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide guidance to achieve business targets
Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
Revenue Generation:
- Develop and implement effective monetization strategies, including advertising models, premium listings, and value-added services
- Analyze revenue performance, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to optimize revenue streams
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns to attract advertisers/agencies/developers and increase client engagement
Business Development & Expansion:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand the reach and user base of the classifieds platform
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, advertisers, developers and other stakeholders to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor industry trends, client feedback, and market research to identify new product or service opportunities and enhance existing offerings
- Sustainable growth and expansion of agency base and market share in regional territory
Client Experience, Engagement and Platform Optimization:
- Continuously improve the client experience/engagement of the classifieds portal, ensuring intuitive navigation, efficient search functionality, and user-friendly interfaces
- Leverage data analytics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to increase client satisfaction and retention
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative features and maintain a competitive advantage
CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred
- At least 7-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the classifieds/B2B sales
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business targets
- In-depth understanding of online classifieds business models, market dynamics, and emerging trends
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions • Exceptional communication, persuasive & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
