Job Description: Full Stack Website Developer for Retail Ecommerce Website
Position: Full Stack Website Developer Location: Doha Job Type: Full-time/Contract Salary: 3000 - 3500 QAR per month
We are looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Website Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining robust ecommerce websites, and will play a key role in improving our user experience and enhancing the performance of our platform.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of our ecommerce website. You will work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to ensure the site is scalable, responsive, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, or Python), as well as ecommerce platform experience.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Front-End Development:</li>
<li>Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.</li>
<li>Integrate interactive UI components and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.</li>
<li>Optimize the site for mobile devices and tablets, ensuring a seamless user experience.</li>
<li>Back-End Development:</li>
<li>Design and implement scalable server-side applications and services using languages like Node.js, PHP, or Python.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain APIs for both internal and external integrations.</li>
<li>Manage databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and optimize data storage and retrieval for high performance.</li>
<li>Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure website integrity.</li>
<li>Ecommerce Integration:</li>
<li>Integrate third-party payment gateways, shipping modules, and other ecommerce tools.</li>
<li>Work with product, inventory, and order management systems to ensure smooth operations and user experience.</li>
<li>Implement features such as product recommendations, reviews, and customer authentication.</li>
<li>Testing and Debugging:</li>
<li>Conduct rigorous testing to ensure functionality, performance, and usability of the website.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot issues and provide efficient, timely solutions to bugs and performance bottlenecks.</li>
<li>Use tools like Git for version control and deployment processes.</li>
<li>Collaboration and Communication:</li>
<li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, marketing, and product managers to align development with business goals.</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards and best practices.</li>
<li>Website Optimization:</li>
<li>Optimize the website for SEO to increase organic traffic.</li>
<li>Ensure fast load times and smooth user interactions across the site.</li>
<li>Keep up with the latest web technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of ecommerce website development.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience with server-side technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, etc.) and backend frameworks (Express.js, Django, Laravel, etc.).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and experience with ORMs.</li>
<li>Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.</li>
<li>Knowledge of web security, performance optimization, and best practices for building scalable applications.</li>
<li>Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills
<ul>
<li>Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.</li>
<li>Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.</li>
<li>Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics.</li>
<li>Experience with Agile development methodologies.</li>
<li>Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for project management.</li>
