I have had exposure to many different businesses over my 45 year career. These include the financial services industry, where I have had more than 20 years of experience with credit cards. Positions held include: accounting, finance, business/financial analysis, technology, and buildings/operations. I started my professional career in public accounting as an auditor and gradually made my way into corporate business where I spent 13 years working in various manufacturing businesses and held roles as a Corporate Controller, General Manager, Director of Internal Audit, and CFO. The Banking industry has been my primary area of concentration since 1990. I spent 9 years with Citigroup as Vice President of Financial Control & Business Account Representative providing financial management support for North America and also as National Controller for Bankcard Collections Operations. After Citigroup, I became Financial Controller Vice President for JPMorgan Chase Cardmember Services responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all marketing program expenses. After JPMorgan, I joined First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO), where I spent 14 years as a key leader in various roles/responsibilities. These roles were in Finance & Analysis for First Bankcard and Enterprise Technology Services as Vice President of Business Planning & Analysis. Next was a vital role in supporting Technology, Operations, and Buildings/Facilities as well as establishing a solid discipline in capital investment decisions for FNBO. After that, VP Director of Portfolio Acquisitions at First Bankcard, responsible for new card acquisitions (acquired $750 million in credit card receivables). Key point of contact and contract negotiator with other institutions who are considering receivables sales. Most recently became VP Director of FNBO Direct and ATM Strategy, where I was responsible for presenting the overall Cardtronics business case to Senior Management, negotiations, implementation/rollout, and operations oversight.
