He was the dean of the College of Computers and Information Technology (CIT) at Taif University from 2009 to 2013. He is an internationally-recognized scholar who has made strong contributions to the knowledge and understanding of Software Testing, Software Reliability models, Soft Computing, Computer Security, Reverse Engineering and Medical Imaging. He has more than ten years of research experience on different environmental-related research projects like SWINGS (Safeguarding Water Resources in India with Green and Sustainable Technology, International FP-7 funded project of the European Union) and green synthesis and application of nanoparticles for wastewater treatment and antimicrobial studies funded by ICMR and CSIR funding bodies of the Indian government.
