Job Description
The Sales Designer sells wood working products with its related accessories and appliances products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products to their needs, resulting in revenue generation.
In addition, Sales Designer provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services
Duties and responsibilities:
- Properly receives Hassan Abul Company (HAC) Showrooms’ customers interested in Wood Working Products (kitchen, doors, wardrobes, etc.) and/or related accessories and appliances.
- Identifies and researches customer needs to develop designs and application of related products to meet these needs.
- Arranges for initial customer site readiness assessment, measurements taking and capture site electromechanical situation.
- Prepares final design that meet all customer’s needs using HAC approved design tools, standards and SOPs.
- Generate final products quotation.
- Sets the right customer expectations related to contract terms and conditions as well as delivery and installation services and its related schedule.
- Prepares Sales Contract and get it signed by customer to close the deal.
- Places Sales Orders in coordination with the Wood Division Technical Office.
- Focuses on achievement of assigned sales targets.
- Creates customers’ awareness of HAC other services and products to increase cross-selling opportunities.
- Properly feeds and utilizes HAC ERP, Pre-Sales and Design applications and tools on timely fashion.
- Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.
- Participates in providing inputs that might lead to development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior design, architecture, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the wooden kitchen design field.
- Strong sales skills and analytical skills with the ability to determine the customer’s needs and requirements of the projects.
- Previous experience in making the kitchen designs and reviewing shop drawings as well as following up on the relevant activities with the relevant technical departments.
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills to manage projects starting from meeting the clients and selecting the required materials till finalizing the project on time.
- Proficiency in 3D of kitchen design software (e.g. Winner, Fusion 2020, etc.)
