Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Lead and supervise a team of civil inspectors, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure effective and efficient inspection processes. 

• Develop and implement inspection plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with construction standards, codes, and regulations. 

• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety regulations. 

• Review and verify the quality of construction materials through sampling, testing, and monitoring of construction processes. 

• Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of inspections, including photographs, measurements, and observations, in compliance with organizational standards. 

• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports summarizing findings, non-compliance issues, and recommended corrective actions for senior management and project stakeholders. 

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address complex compliance issues and provide expert guidance on construction standards and regulations. 

• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards throughout the construction process. 

• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on construction sites by promoting and monitoring safety practices, equipment usage, and worker adherence to safety protocols. 

• Monitor the progress and quality of construction projects at various stages to ensure timely completion and adherence to project specifications. 

• Stay updated with evolving construction standards, codes, regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the team's professional knowledge and skills. 

• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team by promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 07 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
