Job Overview:
As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and functions . You will work closely with the marketing and PR team to ensure that all events are aligned with the company's objectives and brand image. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute events such as product launches, conferences, seminars, and corporate meetings.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all event logistics are in place, such as venue, catering, audio-visual equipment, and guest list.
• Develop event concepts and themes that align with the company's objectives and brand image.
• Create detailed event timelines and schedules, and ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frame.
• Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and press releases.
• Collaborate with the marketing and PR team to create event collateral, such as invitations, programs, and signage.
• Oversee event setup and breakdown, and ensure that all event materials and equipment are properly handled and stored.
• Attend events to ensure smooth execution and handle any on-site issues that may arise.
• Collect and analyze event feedback to continuously improve future events.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and event aesthetics.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
