Retail Manager – Sales & Operations
FUNCTIONAL AREAS:
1. Retail Sales Management:
a) Drive retail sales and profit plans for wholesale, corporate, organizational and retail outlets through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operation strategies consistently across all.
b) Lead and direct the development of store level sales goals and action plans for all sales team directly into measurable results and consistent execution.
c) Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual retail sales targets for the assigned region, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new Outlets.
d) Monitor and focus on the slow-moving products and plan liquidation.
e) Update Sales Head on all the major issues and current market trends.
f) To conduct sales staff appraisal Quarterly as well as Annually.
g) Monitor competitor activities and devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets and accordingly decide the future course of action for all sales team.
h) Coordinate and manage the sales and product training with HO on quarterly basis.
i) Update the marketing team on the newly launch products.
j) Prepare periodic Sales Analysis report.
2. Operations Management:
a) Develop and communicate an ongoing understanding and awareness of competitor activity, relevant industry and technical knowledge to identify market gaps and opportunities for all products on multiple platforms
b) Maintain marketing calendar & make recommendations based on best practices.
c) Monitor and update the physical stocks status and orders regularly in order to update in the website / to create offers accordingly.
d) Develop and execute lifecycle marketing programs to expand customer lifetime value through seasonal offers and promotion.
e) Manage all operational tasks related to CRM.
f) To assist the marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
3. Team Management:
a) Ensure all the stores in the region have adequate number of manpower.
b) Give proper support to staff to develop their skills in the role including on-the-job training leading to achieve growth in sales.
c) Ensure that all sales staffs are trained & equipped with product knowledge.
d) Ensure that the underperformed employees are formally addressed with clear improvement plans.
e) Identify competencies of potential employees, motivate them and make it as common practice.
f) To handle all customer queries and resolving them effectively.
g) To actively participate in the SMART meetings.
