JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Data Management and Analytics Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for orchestrating the seamless integration of data from diverse source systems into a cohesive and comprehensive data repository. This role not only ensures the accuracy and accessibility of data but also drives strategic decision-making through the development and deployment of advanced analytics and business models.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the integration of data from multiple source systems, ensuring the creation of a unified and comprehensive data repository. This involves coordinating with various departments to standardize data formats, resolve discrepancies and enhance data quality.
  • Lead the development and deployment of analytics tools and solutions that provide actionable insights for decision-making. This includes working closely with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, selecting appropriate analytical techniques, and ensuring the timely delivery of insights.
  • Manage the provision of configured data to support business simulations and models. This role ensures that data is accurately represented and readily available for use in predictive modelling, scenario planning and other strategic initiatives.
  • Drive the development of business solution models that leverage integrated data and analytics. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation, designing models that address specific business challenges, and validating the effectiveness of these models through rigorous testing.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Data Analysis, Statistics, Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data management, integration and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis, data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
