Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand Golf Saudi’s market share.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic alliances, aligned with Golf Saudi’s strategic goals.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including golf course developers, investors, government agencies, and industry associations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to develop innovative solutions and proposals that meet client needs and drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to prospective clients and partners.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and contract execution.
  • Monitor and track business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to achieve financial objectives and KPIs.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the business development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent Golf Saudi at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and promote business development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical business practices in all business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 14+ years of experience in business development, sales management, or corporate strategy, preferably within the sports, leisure, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in project management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
