Senior Mobile App Developer (React Native)

Key Responsibilities:

• Looking for an outstanding React Native Developer with Chat App experience to be responsible for the innovative design, layout and coding of our unique mobile applications.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop innovative mobile applications on both iOS and Android service.
• You will test your code, identify errors and iterate to ensure its quality
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high availability and performance.
• Create well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle.
• Assist in the preparation and production of releases of software components.
• Ensure designs are following the specifications.
• Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review to support continuous improvement.
• Fully responsible for the Test & QA phases and has sufficient expertise to deliver the project without errors.
• Development of mobile/web front ends and cross-platform clients with online/offline functionality based on agreed-upon scope and requirements.
• Develop intuitive and user-friendly cross-platform applications for mobile/tablet devices.
• Rapidly build prototypes/simulations from mockups that can be directly implemented.
• Create clean interfaces and smooth interactions based on UI/UX designs and documentation for a range of devices, including mobiles, and tablets.
• Perform cross-browser/device testing and optimization.
• Create and build cross-platform mobile applications using cross-platform SDKs.

Our ideal candidate would have worked in the industry for 5+ years and can bring 3+ years of experience with React Native. Candidates with Chat App or Trading App experience are preferred. Our main requirements are:

● Technical expertise - React Native (using Expo), AWS Serverless, Turborepo & React

● Socket.io Integration: Implement Socket.io for seamless and reliable communication between servers and clients, ensuring low-latency performance.

● Methodology - You will strongly benefit from having experience with iterative methodologies, particularly agile and lean

● Tech Quality - Experience contributing to a “tech first” environment and background driving technical best practices within your teams.

● Industry - ideally experience working in media and/or a passion for the industry

● Problem Solving & communication -

○ Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

○ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

○ A proactive and analytical approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.

○ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

○ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

● Leadership- the ability to influence and inspire across multiple teams and job functions.

General Expectation:

• Experience building complex Android and iOS Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience in all aspects of mobile Software development life cycle.
• Deep understanding of Clean Architecture patterns and best practices.
• Material design, animations, custom components, user Interaction (touches, gestures).
• Experience with offline storage, threading, memory, and performance tuning.
• Image Caching, Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics, Firestore database and Web Socket.
• Experience using method channels to invoke native APIs, Version Control (Git), and Online payment.
• Kotlin and Swift's languages are pluses.
• Experience in development of Android/iOS applications and deployment on Apple/Google Play stores.
• Experience with GIT
