Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agency Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and various agencies.
  • Negotiate and establish contracts with agencies to ensure favorable terms.
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships to support business goals.
  • Procurement Operations:
  • Oversee procurement processes related to agencies, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Evaluate agency performance and recommend improvements or changes to contracts as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to align agency procurement with company objectives.
  • Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Ensure seamless integration of agency services within the overall supply chain.
  • Monitor and manage the timely delivery of services/products from agencies.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize the supply chain with a focus on agency collaboration.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed reports on agency procurement activities, costs, and efficiencies.
  • Maintain records of contracts, negotiations, and performance assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably with exposure to agency management.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating agency performance and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Hiring Considerations:

  • Personality Traits: Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker.
  • Certifications: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) can be an advantage.
  • Languages: Depending on the region, fluency in relevant local and international languages can be essential for managing agencies globally.
