**Job Title:** Senior Accountant (Bahrain)
**Job Overview:**
Braxtone Group, a leading professional services organization, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join its Bahrain team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and finance-related tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including account reconciliation, bank statement analysis, and cash flow forecasting
* Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Bahrain GAAP
* Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, prepare reports, and provide insights to management
* Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes to develop and monitor financial plans
* Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and other financial transactions
* Ensure the accuracy of financial records and maintain a high level of integrity
* Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
* Stay up-to-date on accounting principles, industry best practices, and relevant regulations
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and Bahrain GAAP
* Excellent analytical, numerical, and attention to detail skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP or Oracle NetSuite, is essential
* Knowledge of Bahrain tax laws and regulations is an advantage
