Lodging Development Director – Saudi Arabia

A leading hospitality group is seeking a Lodging Development Director to oversee expansion projects across the Middle East, with a strong focus on Saudi Arabia. This is a non-operational role requiring expertise in hotel development, acquisitions, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the expansion and development of new hotel projects in Saudi Arabia and the region.
• Work closely with local authorities on licensing, permits, and regulatory approvals.
• Lead financial modelling for acquisitions, repositioning, and development projects.
• Secure Greenfield sites and manage project feasibility studies.
• Develop and execute rebranding strategies for existing properties.
• Provide strategic guidance on investment and growth opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Former Hotel General Manager with experience in hotel project development.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian hospitality landscape.
• Expertise in acquisitions, rebranding, and securing new developments.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and investment planning.
• Fluent in Arabic (mandatory).
• Proven ability to navigate regulatory frameworks and local business requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting salary: US$160,000
