Director of Development - Leading Hospitality Group, GCC
Our client is a leading hospitality group in the GCC region, and they are now looking for an experienced Director of Development to assist with their expansion into Saudi Arabia. This role will be based in Saudi Arabia and candidates must already be based in KSA and fluency in both written and verbal Arabic and English is a prerequisite. Ideally the client is looking for candidates who have worked in a similar position in KSA with Rotana, Millennium, Hyatt or other international brands in the Kingdom
This role will work closely with the Group CEO to identify and execute development opportunities in KSA, focusing on developing the brand's footprint through strategic market analysis, project oversight and detailed financial evaluation. Please note that this is not an Operational role.
Key Attributes
- Prior experience at General Manager or Corporate level with a leading International brand would be a big plus
- A proven track record of developing and opening hospitality projects in KSA and a skilled negotiator
- Highly networked within the relevant authorities involved in new hospitality projects in KSA regarding licences, permits, etc
- Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency on financial modelling
- Outgoing personality who is self-motivated and who has the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent knowledge of the Hospitality landscape in KSA along with the key major players
- An experienced hospitality professional who can expertly and confidently showcase the Group in their expansion plans.
Salary
Up to US$160k net per annum (negotiable) along with an attractive incentive for projects successfully developed and implemented.
